The Art of Watch Polishing: An Overview
1. Light polishing
The sharpening technique, also called light polishing, is one of my core skills. Using a cloth disc and a slightly abrasive paste, I can clean and restore new shine to your watch, without removing any material.
This gentle and effective method is ideal for erasing micro-scratches and preserving the original aesthetics and appearance of your timepiece, whether old or modern.
2. Complete polishing
Complete polishing is a fundamental part of my services. This work requires precision and expertise, allowing me to erase the aesthetic defects of your watch with specific tools.
Although it involves the removal of a thin layer of metal, I ensure that the shape, water resistance and longevity of your timepiece are preserved. In case of more severe damage, pre-treatment by laser filling is carried out.
Ceramic and plated metal watches cannot be polished.
